Blanca Li is a dancer, choreographer, director, actress and Franco-Spanish director known for her range of body language from flamenco to hip-hop to classical dance baroque. The Calentito Center, a group of studios located in Paris and dedicated to the work of the company, as well as other theater and dance professionals, has been the basis of the choreographer's work since 1998.
As a director, Blanca directed her first feature film, "Le Défi", a hip-hop musical comedy in 2001, which competes in the 2004 TriBeCa (New York) Film Festival's official selection. In 2008, she directed a second feature film, "Step by Step", a documentary shot behind the scenes of the show "Corazón loco" by the company Blanca Li, with the group Sequenza 9.3. In 2012, she directed three commercials for "Longchamp" with "Coco Rocha" on the theme "The creative movement". In 2016, she directed her third feature, "Elektro Mathematrix", an urban musical comedy without dialogue adapted from her show "ElectroKif".
