After attending the Faculty of Fine Arts in Strasbourg, Christophe Acker joined the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He quickly turned his focus to video and Super 8 cinema. After his studies, he collaborated on various documentary projects for Arte and Canal+, directed his first music videos, and launched the show "Ubik" on France 5 with Fabrice Ferrari. He won the Victoires de la Musique award for the musical DVD Noir Désir en Images and directed numerous music videos, about twenty of which were produced by Suburb Production (featuring artists such as Benjamin Biolay, Johnny Hallyday, Alain Bashung, and Lou Doillon). Most of the music videos produced by Suburb were recognized with CNC quality awards (for artists like Miossec, Lavilliers, Jean-Louis Murat...).
