Giles Gardner edits award winning international documentaries for theatrical release, and broadcast television including the BBC, Arte and France Television. Recently script doctor and editor for the film directed by Harriet Marines Jones "King of Kings" which has just received more than 15 awards in 18 international festivals and which has just been pre-selected (December 2024) for the Oscar 2025 for best documentary film

 

In 2022 Giles GARDNER wrote, directed and edited A COOLER CLIMATE with JAMES IVORY that premiered at THE 60TH NEW YORK FESTIVAL and was distributed in France under the title UN ETE AFGHAN  by  Carlotta Films.

 

Gardner lives in Paris and has dual British & French nationality. Committed to nurturing new and emerging talents he regularly tutors at mentoring programs CloseUp and Dok Incubator.
